Terms & Conditions
1. Business identity
Celtic Buds is a trading name of ALVINI Ltd, 39 Cruises Street, Limerick, V94 AD73, Ireland.
2. Orders and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We acknowledge receipt by email. A contract for an item is formed when we dispatch that item and send a dispatch confirmation. If an item cannot be supplied, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for it.
3. Prices and availability
Prices and availability are shown on the website and may change before an order is placed. The price applicable to an accepted order is the price shown when the order was submitted. Delivery charges and available delivery methods are displayed at checkout before payment.
4. Delivery
We deliver throughout the European Union. Orders placed before 12:00 are dispatched the same day. Estimated delivery is 1–3 working days within Ireland and up to 7 business days within the EU. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Current delivery methods, charges and free GLS thresholds are set out in our Delivery & Returns Information.
5. Right to cancel an online purchase
Subject to the statutory exceptions described below, a consumer may cancel an online sales contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day the consumer, or a person nominated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods. For a single order delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item, lot or piece.
To cancel, send us a clear statement of the decision before the 14-day cancellation period expires. You may use the model cancellation form in our Delivery & Returns Information, but its use is not compulsory.
6. Returns following cancellation
After notifying us of cancellation, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that notification. Unless we agree otherwise or the goods are faulty or not as agreed, the customer bears the direct return cost. The customer must take reasonable care of the goods and may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.
We reimburse payments covered by the cancellation, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of the cancellation. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first. Reimbursement is made using the original payment method unless another fee-free method is expressly agreed.
7. Statutory exceptions
The cancellation right does not apply where a statutory exception applies. Examples include goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised; goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. An exception is applied only where its legal conditions are met.
8. Faulty or non-conforming goods
The cancellation policy does not limit statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise not in conformity with the sales contract. Contact us promptly through our Contact Us page so that the appropriate statutory remedy and return arrangements can be provided. Consumers are not required to pay return costs where the trader is responsible for non-conforming goods.
9. Age restriction
Products on this website may be purchased only by persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old.
10. Accounts and electronic communications
Customers are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for providing accurate account and delivery information. Order confirmations and other contractual communications may be sent electronically. This does not affect statutory rights.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, graphics, logos and original content are owned by ALVINI Ltd, trading as Celtic Buds, or used with permission. They may not be reproduced or exploited commercially without prior permission.
12. Governing law and statutory rights
These terms are governed by Irish law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022, and applicable European Union consumer law. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
